Complicated reasoning Anna, wedding planner, meets Rowen at a wedding and discovers he is the ex of her self absorbed and selfish, angry, unforgiving friend. He is commitment adverse and his friends and relatives seem to be marrying in numbers. There is humour and angst between and around this couple. They are obviously attracted enough to start a relationship but there is a question as to whether they can continue. Some of the events and characters are ok, but others are annoying or unlikable..a juxtaposition of happiness and misery. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Rowan was Anna's best friends ex but when these two meet 5 years after that breakup sparks fly. These two have much to overcome to make it work and get their HEA.

Anna Dyer is not just the wedding planner, she is the bride’s best friend and yet when she meets Rowan Caldwell, common sense goes out the window. Now she will be forced to work with Rowan (it’s his property which is the wedding venue) in planning the wedding Rowan is a bit of a grump and even worse hates weddings. This was an entertaining, at times funny read with characters that are easy to relate to. There was also some angst, dramas and miss-communication as well as heat and passion.
